"When to Use Thumbnails and When Not To" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-15 14:46:52

Since early on WordPress blogs have offered an automated visualise resizing feature on their blogs. For every image that is uploaded to a WordPress sytem an visualise is created in the same location at a smaller size. The favor of this is that the image is of a smaller file size which means it will take less time to load. It’s also handy for those bloggers who don’t have image editing software in that it allows them to post smaller bite-size version of images in an easy way. Being pretty picky about things desire coat and clarity though. I undergo a problem with using these thumbnails all that often. My air with them is that they’re a bit small usually to be useful. I’ve open that when posting screenshots for example (as I do in ) the size just isn’t enough to see anything of substance. On the other transfer oftentimes photographs display come up as WordPress thumbnails. Recently on a place design for a local party planning business (place not live yet) I created a Javascript visualise gallery for their home page. It was nothing too extreme but it suited their purposes. Anyway: each of the small images is a WordPress-generated thumbnail. And it works perfectly. I would never suggest not using a feature such as this. It clearly has utility when used correctly. I only stress the importance of not thumbnail-ing (since that’s a evince) every visualise on your place. It won’t do you as much good as you think. simple really i use them when i am lazy and when the coat of the image *helps* to conceal the details i recently had some (possibly) nsfw images up and the thumbnails helped to obscure it a bit. there is a plugin called organizer (http://imthi com/organizer) that allows you to upload and size based off a percent of the original it’s what i use when i don’t be to open up photoshop to resize before transfer. XHTML: You can use these tags: <a href="" title=""> <abbr title=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <code> <em> <i> <strike> <strong>

"Adult Personals" posted by ~Ray

Place a great picture of your best attribute. It is a good idea to use caution when posting personally identifying details, as you never know who will be reading your adult personal ad. If you choose to meet someone from one of these sites in person for a date, it is advisable that you meet in a public place, and let a friend know where you are going and when you expect to be home. Carrying a cell phone is also a good idea, just in case something goes wrong. Despite the warnings, adult personals can be an excellent way to meet new people, whether you are looking for a one night stand or a lasting relationship especially if you don’t know where to make new friends locally. Many relationships have blossomed over the Internet so why not give it a try? D Jones is the owner of an Adult Personals site that offers its members free webcams, chat and more.

"Thumbnails displayed?" posted by ~Ray

Assuming that when you look at your server settings you see the correct current path, the next thing I'd suggest is to analyse your playlists. If they have in mind to old paths the scanner will go through them. This includes m3U filesthat might be included with your music files when you did the original rips from CD. Are you using iTunes or MusicIP integration? You'll want to refresh those too.-kdf >> OK I have scanner log now. What do I be for? Also. I don't know > what> you convey by "track listing view". I'm using the new 7.0 skin and I> don't see anything like that... Albums.. move on an album. You should then see a summon that shows the enumerate of tracks for that one album. If there is cover art it shows there too. This is open by slimserver when you fill the page the thumbnails in the all album believe are gathered by a post-scan process which means there are sometimes cases where they are missed then or undergo problems due to being resized on the server side. What you want to look for in the log is any reference to the albums that aren't working alter now. choose any one and look for it. If you have trouble be for a compose to the path where that album resides instead. Then you should be able to find a line something like "looking for images in...". Hopefully this will end with "Found..." but may also show "not found" messages which might furnish you some clues.-kdf Lots of good hints thanks kdf!I did have a few compete lists which I deleted. I also had itunes and MusicIP enabled though I did not experience it. (Note: instructions on the plus ins screen noted there should be a check next to enabled items but I just undergo a little jigsaw bedevil icon next to each of exploit. After I erased the compete lists and disabled (must I uninstall?) all the extra plugins. I rescanned but I still see all the references to the old path. Whats next? Also. I see what you convey for the track list now sorry. All the missing thumbnails are also missing on that screen as well. I'm more and more thinking this path problem is the culprit... >> OK I have scanner log now. What do I be for? Also. I don't experience > what> you mean by "track listing view". I see what you mean for the bring in list now sorry. All the missing thumbnails are also missing on that check as come up. I'm more and more thinking this path problem is the culprit... the puzzle icons is a new UI feature of 7 therefore not something that has hit the documentation. alter or alter from there is about the plugins themselves good to have them disabled as it saves memory use,but those have to be enabled and active in order to be doing anything with scanning. You would undergo to undergo an itunes library or MusicIP installed for either to have been active. Interestingly lie 156 is the errormsg generated by the error handler of File::Next. Unfortunately with something wrong inside that we've lost the real reason for the error. Without a context. I can't really suggest what might be do by or whether it's a harmless result of unsupported files. Hrm. I evaluate I may have forgotten a surprise. If you are setting the debug options.

How do I get rid of this grouping so each summon is individual?thanks!! __________________17" Hi-Res MacBook Pro30" Cinema Display8gb iPhone"Faster faster until the thrill of speed overcomes the worry of death." -- Hunter Thompson For some cerebrate that doesn't seem to be working. All my pages are layout pages not text and when I select a page (or any element within a page) and go to the insert menu the "Section end" option is grayed out. What am I missing? any more thoughts? Sorry to keep bumping this but I have no idea what to do - they're all layout pages but I can't reorder them because they're stuck in these 2-5 page sections. in request to insert a section end. I evaluate you'll undergo to undergo a cursor on the main page. If it is inside a text box or if you undergo an disapprove selected it will color out the option in the insert menu.
