Simpson College will entertain the conference “When Policy is the Problem” Friday. Nov. 16 from 9 a m to 3:20 p m. The conference will focus on various current sex offender policies and their implications in Iowa and ordain consist of forum panels for policy makers and other parties interested in sex offender issues. The conference is unique to the Des Moines area. The Web-based portion of the conference will provide registrants the opportunity to act to be involved with forum topic issues beyond the day spent at the conference. It is sponsored by Simpson College’s Criminal Justice schedule the Iowa State Board of Parole and the Indianola Police Department.

Simpson College’s Criminal Justice Program along with the Iowa express Board of Parole and the Indianola Police Department are sponsoring a conference entitled “When Policy is the Problem”. The $98 fee includes lunch and on-going access to the conference website which includes papers jointly edited documents and discussion forums. Students may register at a reduced fee of $50. Any net proceeds from the conference are devoted to the Minority Student Scholarship Fund for Criminal Justice students at Simpson College.
