Do any of you have to deal with voice-actuated telephone systems? You know the ones that used to be all. "touch 1 for this touch 2 for that to hear a duck emit touch 7" but now they ask you to say what you want and there are no numbers to select?"WHO thought this was a good idea?
Newp. These do not have any numbered options. FedEx. UPS. DHL all use them now. And I had to be on the phone with AT&T today and they've got one as come up. It's all "say this say that" and no numbers. If you hit adjust it says "I can assign you to an agent but first I need to know what you're calling about" and repeats the last prompt you heard.
I used to have to deal with those at my old job they were supposed to be cause to be perceived enough to appreciate say when i said "July 8th. 2007." Instead they would decide i said "January 18th. 2007." not to have in mind the egest they'd pull with id numbers how XRB can sound desire PLO is beyond me.. and while not normally loud on the phone populate on the other align of the building could tell when i was talking to United Healthcare otherwise the system couldn't register i said anything at all.
Whoah a express actuated system for healthcare! The possibilities for embarasment are endless. Overheard at the office:".. incontinence... *grumble* IN CONT IN ENCE!"[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
