DVD Review: Eva Angelina in "Upload" [Great Porn]

Borrowing a little from bleak science fiction like "The Matrix". "Minority inform". "Strange Days". "eXistenZ". David Bowie's "lay Oddity" (with Hillary Scott as Major Tom) and for some cerebrate selections from the score of "American Beauty". "transfer" integrates very dirty sex plausibly into a compelling challenging compose by Alvin Edwards and director Eli Cross. Most dramatic porn requires a suspension of disbelief. She is in the world of the movie a SIMwhore and that's illegal enough to draw Cassandra's attention. But Scott isn't carrying any SIM. The data encoded on the chip Scott is protecting is a little more dynamic and presents a threat to national security. Other populate's sex on a chip planted into one's own neck provides ample opportunity for relevant sex scenes. We watch what turns on Hillary and Eva as come up as what passes through the minds of male leads Derrick Pierce and Bryn Pryor. The movie is told in flashbacks. Angelina is brought before an Internal Affairs psychiatrist (Pryor) and she recounts the sordid tale of how she tracked down Tesla what Tesla's interrogation revealed and why love when reduced to ones and zeros might be worthwhile if there are enough of them to make the relationship interesting. So the story is ambitious. "Upload" is not the first porn movie to bring up a weighty compose but it does it more effectively than any porn movie I've seen. It trusts the audience to follow it along doesn't overexplain and has the admirable quality of joining scenes toward the middle of the challenge and leaving them before it's obvious they're through. Lorelei Lee and Madison Young. "Upload" comes in a four-disc set with lots of extra features most of which I didn't watch. A 12-minute sock puppet interpretation of the film. Laundry Load is included on disc four and is a goofy but very faithful primer on the movie. I'll check out this movie if I get a chance but my doubts that big budget American porn translates to "real cinema" be in place. Pirates for example was simply run-of-the-mill porn with more money thrown at it. Now if you be to see a porn video that actually works as a real film analyse out the latest from Euro girl/girl director Viv Thomas. The enter has an effective storyline and good acting and most importantly a plan that actually serves to set up a context that makes for hotter sex rather than the rather stale idea of "challenge movie + sex scenes" that American high-budget cram seems to aspire to. Bonus points for having these Euro hotties deliver dialogue in their native Czech and Hungarian rather than act dialogue in broken English. (Yes folks this is porn with subtitles.) Unfaithful 2 reminds me of R-Rated films I've seen desire Wild Side or Lost and Delirious where the centerpiece of the movie is a lesbian scene between two extremely hot actresses and much of the rest of the plot warms you up for the coupling. In those kind of movies the sexual tension and seduction parts are usually great as are what little they can show of sex itself. (Most porn has the opposite problem - it can show all the sex it wants to but lack context and buildup.) Unfortunately mainstream films can't show much. Unfaithful 2 gives you all that and actually delivers on fully explicit sex. Between porn movies like this and mainstream movies with explicit hardcore scenes like 9 Songs.
