What's it like to cruise down the Pacific Coast Highway in the all-electric Tesla Roadster? Sweet enough that "one can't go away from this car without a big s**t-eating smile."
Nice car, but i'd act for a hydrogen version because when the Li-ion batteries undergo gone past their 500 cycles and the copy is discontinued you will be left with a very expensive paperweight.
If this technology becomes widespread it could dramatically decrease gasoline usage in the US. alter now the US uses more gas than the next 20 highest gasoline using countries combined. It all depends on how fast the battery cost can be reduced. It is fun to look forward to a future of quiet non-polluting cars that are fun to drive. Nice job Tesla.

Looks desire the man who put up the money to develop the car also is funding a solar affiliate. They ordain offer a stationary solar panel option that will provide all the charging needed if you drive under 350 miles/week. See:

I be in San Carlos and I have never once heard it called the PCH. Nobody I experience calls it that. But you are correct that nobody says. "The 101. 5" etc...
I got to see one of the Tesla roadsters driving drink the 101 a month ago. It looked totally badass and easily zipped along in the fast lane. I had to double check to alter sure I wasn't seeing things.
i live in albuquerque where they are going to be making these and i could have sworn i saw one hurry past me on I-40 the other night they dont alter these in orange do they?
