Sudan Update: Displaced Persons Being Forced From Camps

"if these populate are expelled from the IDP camps they are going to die -- either by starvation dehydration or malnutrition and the other thing is that the janjaweed will be waiting." According to AllAfrica com there are an estimated 200 to 300 camps in Darfur that are located in hard to reach rural areas. Some areas are only accessible by helicopter. The situation makes it extremely difficult for aid workers to reach these IDP’s and it would be disastrous if they were forced from these camps. With the situation growing even more dire for these Internally Displaced Persons it is clear that we cannot wait any longer for peacekeeping forces to reach Sudan. An international peacekeeping force was approved by the United Nations along with the African Union approve in August of this year and they have yet to position. Secretary command Ban Ki-moon explained that it was due to this stalling on behalf of Khartoum that troops have not yet been sent out. With Khartoum being the capital of Sudan and the bear on of the Sudanese government that is responsible for this genocide why are we waiting for their approval? I would think that the point of this fit peace keeping go is to fix the problems that Khartoum has created. The reason that international forces are needed is to protect the citizens that the government in Khartoum undergo raped murdered and displaced.
