I am in need of some advice. I currently have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire which has a bad starter. It has around 140,000 miles on it which a 2.2 liter engine i believe. I am an ametuer mechanic at beat but do not undergo the means to have it towed somewhere to get fixed or know anybody who can fix it for me by when I be it which is tomorrow. Im fairly certain that I understand the command procedure for changing the starter. I disconnected the battery disconnected the wires going to it but when I took out what I thought were the only bolts holding it in (two which would be on the drivers side of the car) it would not come out. I then noticed two small bolts/nuts holding it onto something else (which im guessing is an extention of the frame designed to give it more give). I did not undergo a pull small enough to get the nuts off so I had to depart for the night. Im going to try to get this done tomorrow and i think i experience how but im not sure if those are the only things holding it in. Is there anything else i be to know or am not aware of?
